For a while I read so much that my body suffered. But what did come out of that is that I expanded my mind in numerous ways, enriched my vocab, and basically did brain-yoga pretty much daily. Brain-yoga is what I call it when a book is hard to understand, but you push through anyway, and it leaves you going, "WOW". Brain yoga, I've learned, is very good for us. So without further ado, here are some of the books that rocked my world:
We ALL Need to Meditate
We ALL need to Meditate. Seriously. It gives us much needed perspective: we get space from our minds that think they know everything. We begin to see the world thru calm, and that can be profound. Wisdom bubbles forth - Insight, and Intuition, and begins to direct us much more clearly...a deeper intelligence than the thinking mind.
We become less reactive, softer.
You'll fight less with your partner, and understand them more.
